Central Bank Thursday Night Live will return to Fifth Third Bank Pavilion in Downtown Lexington on July 1 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm for beverages, tasty food, and of course, great music by live bands!

Big Band & Jazz Patriotic Concert (Additional dates on their site)
Date: Friday, July 2nd from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Featuring the Metrognomes at the Moondance Amphitheater 1125 Monarch St. Lexington, KY
About the event:
The return of spring means the return of one of Lexington’s longest-running and most beloved concert series – Big Band & Jazz. With a full schedule of live music planned, concert-goers can enjoy weekly big band or jazz music at Moondance Amphitheater and Ecton Park. Picnics are encouraged and patrons should bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.

Bluegrass 10,000 and Fun Run

July’s Bluegrass 10,000 and Fun Run are back, with a slimmed-down in-person event, plus a virtual option. The Bluegrass 10,000 is a 10,000-meter race through the main business and historic districts of downtown Lexington.

Date: Saturday, July 3rd at 10:00 pm
Park for free in the Central Bank Center parking lot off High Street, bring a chair, and enjoy the show.

LexArts Gallery HOP
Date: Friday, July 16th, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
About the event:
The LexArts Hop is a self-guided tour of the visual arts in downtown Lexington, KY. Patrons begin at any location and visit as many or as few participating venues as they would like. Each site presents an exciting new exhibit for each Hop and, thanks to the generosity of many, admission is always free.
30+ galleries are on the HOP!
While the official HOP hours are 5-8 pm, closing times may vary and many of the Supporting Art Venues, particularly participating restaurants and clubs, remain open throughout the evening.

Friday Flicks
Date: Friday, July 16th at 7:00 pm
Where? Jacobson Park (4001 Athens-Boonesboro Road Lexington, KY)
About the event:
Friday Flicks offers a great evening of entertainment for all ages at Jacobson Park. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Food vendors will also be on-site or patrons may bring their own picnic dinner. For safety, pets are not permitted. Pre-movie activities include children’s games, petting-zoo, non-profits, and more.
Registration is not required.
This week’s movie is The Croods 2 which was rescheduled from June 11 due to rain.

Rainbow Run 5k

Before the race, stop on over at North Lime Coffee & Donuts to fuel up on their Tie-Dye donut. For each Tie-Dye donut sold, a portion of the sales will be donated to the Rainbow Run 5K.
And after the race, refuel with food and drinks during our SOCIAL HOUR. West Sixth Brewing will have a truck on site after the race, so grab a beer and enjoy a lovely evening amongst friends.
